I have always loved baking. One day, I decided it would be fun to try and make a cake with fondant icing and without researching it, I kind of just played around with it.... Let’s just say it didn’t turn out that great. So, I did a little research, bought some cake decorating cookbooks and did a course where I learned all about cakes. From then on, I was the cake person in the family. Soon came my 18th birthday cake, I had very specific ideas and asked a few people if they would be able to make it for me and the responses were all pretty much ‘oh I can’t do this aspect, I don’t know how’ or ‘it’s harder than it looks’. So, I decided to make it myself. While it didn’t end up looking 100% how I pictured it, I couldn’t have been happier. To be told that the aspects I wanted were too hard by people who have made the most amazing cakes I’d seen and then to do it myself with minimal structured training was MIND BLOWING. This only amplified my love of all things CAKEEE. 4 years on I got sick of seeing the poor quality of cakes people were buying! So here we are. The frustration of substandard cakes lead to me opening this home-based business. Come join me on this journey and I hope you’re as excited as I am.
